In February 2020 I discovered pet transportation while looking to supplement my income as a rideshare independent contractor. When the world came to an abrupt stop due to the Covid-19 pandemic, I figured out what I wanted to be when I grew up, and it only took 55 years! Thus, FEHPT was born.
My very first “job” was to deliver a puggle puppy from Kentucky to her new home in Billings, Montana. When we arrived at Zoe’s new home, her person was waiting outside to greet us, there were banners and balloons welcoming her home! The expression of pure love and joy on her humans’ face filled my heart to overflowing. My own feelings of love, joy, honor, and yes, even pride, that I had been blessed to be part of such a moment.
They say that when you love what you do, it is not work. I’m here to tell you, that is so true. The feelings mentioned above are truly felt with EVERY delivery, as I do fall in love with each and every one!
